One Hour Photo (Rental: June 2003)

Is it me or are people generally getting the wrong idea about the character Robin Williams is trying to present in this film? I urge you to look at this character a bit deeper than the stereotypical suit he is cast as because the key to his character lies beyond looking past the cover. I don't want to say anymore.

I thought it was a stunning performance in a film that doesn't really have much of a story and doesn't really go anywhere but is still excellent. Basically Williams is a lonely geeky kinda guy who just really needs some mates and gets a bit of a fixation on one particular family he dreams to be a part of. The concept leads to a potentially explosive situation which keeps you eeking on your seat a bit, wondering when he will explode.

I think the audience will enjoy the ending, I did.

Excellent performances all round & yet another role for Mr Williams to sink his teeth into.
